Steven and I are attempting to see all the Oscar-nominated movies this year &#8212; three down, two to go.<\/p>\n<p>We get to the having-the-baby scene . . . that&#8217;s not a spoiler, is it?  I mean, come on, the girl&#8217;s pregnant on all the promotional material for the movie, and as her character says, &#8220;Cuz, you know, they say pregnancy often leads to, you know, infants.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So there&#8217;s the scene, and on her feet in the stirrups are these socks, and <em>I have socks just like those<\/em>.  I call them my Cheesecake Factory socks, since they&#8217;re the restaurant&#8217;s take-out bag colors.  Steven and I get all excited:  &#8220;Those are the socks!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Mom told me I should wear those socks once I go into labor, but no way, man.  I cannot wear socks if there&#8217;s no pants to go with them.
