Steven, while on the phone dealing with a billing issue with Alagasco:

“So . . . you’re punishing us for being proactive?”

“I’m bring up the bill on the website . . . hold on, it’s a pretty crappy website . . .”

It is a crappy website, too. There are two separate log-ins — one for E-billing and one for My Account — each with their own Login I.D. and password. I think a big WTF is warranted here.

He’s still on the phone with them now. I believe the moral of this story is don’t sign up for their Budget Billing service because they don’t know what the hell they’re doing.
